River Terrace

Our Neighborhood boasts a canoe launch right on the Cahaba River.  There is a sister launch about 3 miles up Overton Road, off of Grants Mill Road.  It takes about 3 hours to float down to our take in.  Or you can put in at our spot and paddle up the river for a while and then reast as you float back down.

Our new park is just down the street, less than a mile away down Overton Road. It may eventually connect all the way down to our canoe launch!

From Dairy Queen, to Subway; to Leon La Taberna; to Billy's Bar and Grill; to Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe, River Terrace is just minutes away from lots of wonderful and diverse food.

A lovely Hilton Gargen Inn is located just across the Cahaba River and is a great place for friends and family to stay while visiting.

We have our own Piggly Wiggly less than a mile away from our Neighborhood!  Great Wine list - and just what you need for dinner!
